Toby & Company!
It was a beautiful spring day in Chicago's South Loop. We chose to photograph the session at Coliseum Park (after realizing that there was a giant Easter egg hunt at the Women's Park on Indiana, oops!). It turned out great, and Toby was the perfect little man for his one year old photo shoot. Happy Birthday, Toby!

Spring is upon us! Yay for gorgeous weather in the great city of Chicago! One of my very favorite places to hang out is Millennium Park....where you can find the Crown Fountain and a gazillion other cool things. You can enjoy Millennium Park year round with this print, "Crown Fountain Face"...it's the print most recently sold here: Linda's Etsy Shop but I can make more!

It's still cold here in Chicago, but it's always warm and beautiful inside the Cultural Center! This is absolutely one of my favorite places in the city...such a treasure, and one of the reasons I love living here so much. I put together this grouping of some shots I did of the gorgeous Tiffany Dome, and other stunning architectural elements. Enjoy!

It's the middle of winter and we're all getting a bit sick and tired of this weather. But the snow can be beautiful, and I think we appreciate the nice weather SO much more after surviving yet another Chicago winter. I happen to love each of the 4 seasons for different reasons, mostly because the landscape of the city changes and I have the opportunity the photograph the same subject several different ways. I love this city....hot, cold, or in between.

It's cold and snowy today! So let's all think of summertime and the beautiful city of Chicago and all we have to look forward to, including all of the awesome public art available to us. My personal favorite thing to visit and photograph is Buckingham Fountain. It has so many personalities and I have tried to capture some of them to the best of my abilities. I do love the overhang of clouds in the above image. It was a gorgeous summer night, and all the stars aligned for me to get this shot.

I am so fortunate to live in such a great city, and specifically the South Loop area of Chicago. The city provides endless photographic subject matter, and the collage above, titled "South Loop Vignettes" is comprised of little glimpses of my neighborhood, all within a couple blocks of where I live.
